Overview
If you would be buying any brand new DELL laptops for 2025 or going forward, this is information you must know! In a rather odd move DELL has decided to also "rebrand" (this wave of recent rebrands…hmm), and now scrapped all it's previously existing model names.
From now on their models will be Dell, Dell Pro & Dell Pro Max (I was almost cursing everyone responsible for this “rebrand”). A statement by Jeff Clarke, the Chief Operating Officer at Dell, he explains that consumers tend to prefer names that "are easy to remember and easy to pronounce."
Old models will rebranded in the following manner;
Dell Inspiron models → Dell (base)
Dell Inspiron Plus models → Dell Plus
Dell XPS models → Dell Premium
Dell Latitude models → Dell Pro, Dell Pro Plus, Dell Pro Premium
Dell Precision models → Dell Pro Max, Dell Pro Max Plus, Dell Pro Max Premium
Imagine some asking for the name of your laptop and you have to say “Dell Pro Max Premium” 😂😭
