JAMB picks Alabi's 'The Lekki Headmaster' as 2025 UTME reading text
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced ‘The Lekki Headmaster’, a novel by Kabir Alabi, as the official book, halting speculations concerning the reading text for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Before the announcement, some Nigerians were speculating on some other publications as the board’s official book for the 2025 UTME but JAMB, on Tuesday, cleared the air as it made the statement on its X handle.
It announced ‘The Lekki Headmaster’ as the approved reading text for the Use of English in the 2025 UTME.
The tertiary institutions’ entrance examination umpire board also guaranteed candidates that details regarding the registration process for the 2025 UTME and Direct Entry (DE) would be released soon.
