Covenant University Matriculates 2,449 New Students For 2024/2025 Academic Session
The most prestigious Higher Institution in West Africa, Covenant University, on Friday, January 31, 2025, matriculated a total of 2,449 new students for the 2024/2025 academic session in both undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs.
The University also welcomed its first cohort of students for the Open and Distance e-Learning platform during this session.
In his welcome address, the Chancellor and Chairman, Board of Regents, Dr. David O. Oyedepo, extended a warm greeting to the incoming students, emphasizing the University’s commitment to shaping individuals with a long-term vision.
He encouraged the new entrants to embrace their academic journey and strive to become world-changers.
“We have, in this community, potential world-changers in the making. My prayer is that none of you will feel out of place here. May God’s purpose in bringing you here be fully realized. This reform mandate is the foundation of our philosophy, which focuses on a transition from mere form to skill, knowledge, to empowerment - towards building a sustainable future, and moving from legalism to realism.”
