Ayomide Adeleye is in our custody over murder of friend Lagos police confirm
The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that Ayomide Adeleye, who confessed to murdering his friend and neighbour, Christianah Idowu, remains in custody and has been charged with murder.
This clarification was provided by the State Police Public Relations Officer, Superintendent of Police, Benjamin Hundeyin, following reports suggesting that Adeleye was not being held in any Lagos correctional centre.
Hundeyin, in a statement, dismissed the claims as misinformation. He assured the public that Adeleye was charged with murder and had been remanded at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre.
