Utilisation of AI as grid protection in Nigeria
Stakeholders have been urged to embrace the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence-powered automation to tackle inefficiencies in the energy sector.
In a statement released on Saturday, AI and energy expert, Faith Odum, said the AI-driven systems could optimise the use of natural gas which will curb the rising cost of living in the country.
The statement partly read, “Nigeria, as Africa’s largest oil producer, faces significant energy challenges, with over 71 per cent of the population, about 140 million people, lacking consistent access to electricity.
