Anambra Security Outfit Raids and Demolishes Kidnappers' Hideouts
Anambra State’s Agunechemba, also known as Operation Udo Ga-Achị, struck a major blow against crime by raiding kidnappers' dens in Isiagu, Awka South. Two houses used for detaining victims were demolished under Governor Soludo's 2025 Homeland Security Law, which mandates forfeiture of properties used for criminal activities. Authorities revealed that the landlords knowingly allowed these illegal operations. The government reaffirmed its commitment to a crime-free Anambra, offering a ₦5 million reward for information leading to kidnappers’ arrests.
