The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) on Wednesday disclosed that the new WASSCE (PC1) resit examination does not apply to Nigerian candidates, in a post on X.
WAEC Head of Public Affairs, John Kapi, announced the PC1 on Sunday during an interview on JoyNews’ AM Show. The “WASSCE (PC1)” exam program offers students the opportunity to retake failed subjects from previous West African Senior School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE).
Kapi said the WASSCE PC1 exams will be held from January 24 to February 15, 2025.
