Nigeria's Automotive Industry Gets Boost As Minister Reaffirms Govt Support
The Nigerian automotive industry has received a significant boost as Senator John Owan Enoh, Minister of State for Industry, reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to its growth.
Speaking at the Automotive Industry Stakeholders’ Conference in Lagos, Senator Enoh emphasised the sector’s importance for job creation, technological progress, and economic diversification.
The conference, themed “Strategy for the Current and Sustainable Future of the Auto Industry in Nigeria,” was organised by the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC).
It brought together key organisations, including the Federal Ministry of Finance, the National Automotive Manufacturers Association (NAMA), and the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO).
During his address, Senator Enoh applauded NADDC’s efforts and highlighted the government’s plan to drive industrialisation through the automotive sector.
